Tutu Cute!

Have y'all seen this precious pic floating around on the Pintasphere?
Oh I could just eat them up! I think it is just about the cutest thing on the planet, so I can't even tell you how tickled I was to take on a similar project for Baby Julia.
It's all things girly and all things football, wrapped up into one-Just as Southern as the sweet tea I'm sippin.

I may not be a Notre Dame fan, but I'm a Tutu fan, so I rolled up my sleeves and got to work on the little skirt and onesie combo and think it turned out pretty stinking cute.

The football onesie alone is the perfect gameday accessory for the littlest of Dawg football fans.
.
And I sure can't wait to see this sweet pea all dressed up with her big brother Lucas!

Whale of a Good Time

I am a sucker for cute whale things. Coop's first bday party was all about having a whale of a good time.
And I whaley love this sweet pink preppy little whale.

I'm sitting at my machine now mastering ruffle-legged onesies. Ignore those stitches--work in progress! They're gonna mean trouble. Way too cute!
While I was feeling preppy, I might have stitched Coop's initials into his new little red raincoat using the "seal" monogram.

This is the first thing I've done of his. I might be tempted to do some little oxford shirts in the near future though, I won't lie.

And I almost forgot! Remember this cutie patootie miracle baby?
Parker Edward? He is a CHAMP and is doing oh so well. Home sweet home from the NICU. Look at how precious he and Big Brother JB are. (Go DAWGS!)
His mama has something up her sleeve for a picture shoot coming up that involved these tasty treats.
I jumped at the opportunity to pour out praises and prayers for this sweet baby (x4).
I just about can't wait to see the finished product.

Back to my ruffle legs. Lovin' all these orders but mostly lovin' loving on all you sweet folks!

Stitching Stories

I ran over my phone on Tuesday. With my car. Turns out monogrammed cases don't withstand mid-sized SUVs.

I was so busy whipping up sweet baby things that I didn't even stop to care.
So excited to celebrate two precious new babies!

Matilda Grace is 3 weeks old and just about the cutest thing in the whole wide world.
She's a tiny little thing. Curled right up on my shoulder and made the sweetest little noises.
Mostly I just dreamed of monogramming her tiny little bloomers and ruffled bottomed onesies.

And Baby Brady will be here any day now! He is gonna be the rootin'-its-tootin-its cowboy in all the land. His mama, Danielle, is just the cutest thing!
My favorite part? I just sit and pray for these sweet little babies the entire time I whip up their gifts. I have already gotten such joy hearing stories of these little ones and what they "need" and why they "need" it. With each order, there's a story, and I just love that.

Somehow my scrubs got monogrammed.
Strangest thing.

Baby Love

I've been in a pink/navy/paisley/ruffly mood today-I just can't get enough of this print!
Must have been my trip down to Buggy Days where I saw one too many camo embroidered onesies.
For reals. Camo meets monogram. Thankfully they had fried pickles and more people watchin' than we could hardly stand, so I was able to recover quickly.
Baby love, y'all.

Now off to master pillow cases and towels for the Mr. and the Mrs.

Whoa Nelly-Fonts, Fonts, Fonts!

I am officially hooked. I warned Chris: If it's not the undies on your fannie, it's fair game.

What's even better is that when I was in Old Navy this morning with a cart full of hoodies, onesies, and tees for Monogram Mania Weekend, this old Bitty standing in front of me in line (wearing-I-kid-you-not) white denim shorts and a kitty cat sweatshirt, gawked at my cuffed jeans and said "Not to offend you BUT I sew and I could fix those pants for you so they don't look so silly".

Um.

"I sew too", I said "and these 'silly' cuffed britches happen to be in style thank-you-very-much".

Psh. I totally wanted to offer to monogram her kitty sweatshirt.

Instead, I sashayed home and got crackin' on some fonts. Love, love, love!
I'm a total sucker for the traditional 3 letter vine monogram. It's making it's debut in my closet as we speak. Gotta "practice", right?

I also made a hoodie (it's a gift, shhh!). I know. Picture looks bleh but it is just darlin in person!
I think it looks mighty sassy on a burp cloth too.
And one of my very faves:
Sew tell me, what's your favorite?
